Clara Hevia
Welcome!
Clara (she/her) is an NYC & Boston-based actor & singer. She graduated from NYU Steinhardt in May of 2021, earning a B.M. in Vocal Performance/Musical Theatre with a minor in Dramatic Literature. She is passionate about Shakespeare, new works, and teaching, believing strongly in storytelling as a tool for empowerment, advocacy, and social change.
Onstage, Clara was most recently seen as Perdita in Commonwealth Shakespeare Co.'s The Winter's Tale and as Hermia in CSC's Stage2 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. In 2022-2023, she traveled North America with the national tour of Cats as the soprano booth singer & swing, understudying Grizabella, Jellylorum, & Sillabub.
Outside of acting, Clara adores Chipotle, dance class, wandering indie bookshops or thrift stores, and making friends with as many animals as possible. She is also fascinated by human movement science, kinesiology, and psychology, and in 2024 she became an NASM-certified personal trainer.
